DH is such a wonderful husband. We drove to Montana this weekend and the roads were terrible. I was uncomfortable sitting for so long and the driving on icy/snowy roads was really stressful. He didn't want me to stress while driving so he drove 90% of the way. The drive normally takes us 7.5 hours took us about 10 this trip. We didn't get in until 4:30 in the morning Montana time.
But, thankfully DH was able to get snow tires through work and they worked amazingly well. Over the passes we passed some semi truck's and other people stuck in the snow. Thankfully at night there were not too many idiots on the road.
The way home was much sunnier and dryer, but it was superbowl sunday and there were tons of people on the road. So we have some nice rock chips in our pretty little car. Oh well. We made it there and back in one piece.
