Farm Day Celebration
Thanks to Jenna and Logan for reminding me about our trip on Farm Day see her post here - Harvest Celebration Farm Tour. We ended up going to the Fall City Farm. It looked like it had fun things for the kids including live music, hay rides and u-pick farm veggies. We had high hopes to hit more than one farm, but we ended up spending more time than anticipated here and needed to get Lil One home for a nap. We had the list of farms we wanted to see and had them mapped out... so much for planning ahead!!
Lil One had a great time going through the hay maze, seeing the animals and going on the hay ride... we had to sit and wait for the second ride and Lil One didn't want to leave until we went on the hay ride.
Both Daddy and I loved the farm day and we both said it reminded us of the Shortbranch. We miss it and were sad it was not really in the family anymore. There is still acreage for use, but it isn't the same. (Read about the Shortbranch here)
