toddler helmet?

I know kids are supposed to get bumps and bruises at this stage, but how tough can that little noggin' be?!

Here is the past week's list of your injuries:

1. Tuesday: Climbed up lounge chair, slipped nailed bottom of eye (black eye)
2. Friday: Slept at nana's, pulled binoculars on to head (big ol' lump and bruise)
3. Saturday: played on new big wheel, fell off onto concrete (no noticeable bruise)
   
4. Sunday: On Mom's lap playing, launched head into door jam (big lump)
   

I know most kids get banged up, but do we need to have you running around in a helmet? And kids are rough and tumble, but how tough can a 1 year old be??
