What was I thinking! Moment #281

The front seat of the car is not the best changing table. Not only do you get to wrangle a squirmy unhappy child, but you get to try and keep the poop contained to just the kid and the cloth diaper.

So with said changed child and poop somewhat contained, we loaded the car with the groceries. I opened a bag of snacks for lil one since it was getting close to her dinner time and gave her a handful. And in my moment of complete thoughtlessness, put the opened bag back in the grocery bag, then placed the grocery bag on the seat (next to the hungry and smarter than her 10 months would suggest child). So the opened bag was able to be wrestled free from its holding spot and put into hungry child's lap to munch on the entire way home in rush hour traffic.

If my cell phone camera would have saved the picture you would have been able to see a very happy child with bag of snacks nestled in-between her legs. She looked like a man sitting on the couch with a bag of chips happily snacking away.
